Bedding
Who doesn’t appreciate lovely linen to climb into at the end of the day? Our edit of quality fabrics and tactile textures make bedtime a moment to really look forward to.

- Waffle Cotton Bedspreads Soak&Sleep
Throw on a throw for a bit of colour or extra warmth on those dark January days.
- Antipodream Bedding Antipodream
I’m not going to pick out individual pieces as we’ll be here all day but if you love patterned bedding with a vintage feel then you'll be in heaven here. And if you need advice on how to mix different patterns and shapes then pay attention to the styled shots - there’s a masterclass right there that you can carry over into cushions and rugs if you note how it’s done.
- Isla Geometric Bedding Set M&S
This printed bedding set is made from sustainable cotton. It’s also reversible, so mix it up with cover one way and pillows the other. And, if you fancy, add a couple of plain pillowcases in a contrasting colour.
- Rise & Fall Bedding Rise & Fall
I've been a fan of Rise & Fall since they launched. They make simple cotton bedding in either soft sateen or crisp percale. Their factory runs on wind power, 90 per cent of the water is recycled, the packaging is plastic-free (apart from the labels, which they’re working on) and the largely female workforce and their families have access to free education. This is the place for basics. If you need plain, simple, comfortable and ethically made bedding, buy it from here.
- Pure Cotton Striped Seersucker Bedding Set M&S
Maybe it’s because I’m a child of the Seventies, but there’s something both instantly comforting and reassuring about seersucker. Not that we saw much of it in bedding back then. Back then it was all about nylon nighties that flashed electric sparks in the dark. Anyway, seersucker, stripes. As Charlie said to Lola: “Stripes is nice”.
- Avignon Bed Linen Collection The White Company
Plain white, but with a pretty pompom detail to perhaps jazz up your basics (bought separately from Rise & Fall).
- Piglet Bedding Piglet
If linen is your thing then have a browse round here. Lots of soft washed-out colours you can buy in sets of mix and match. Linen has long fibres so it will wick away sweat in summer and keep you warm in winter, as well as getting softer with every wash and wear.
